However, one of the key challenges faced by these industries is how to track their progress towards sustainability and communicate it to both employees and other important stakeholders. Further, with the understanding within the industry that resources are becoming even scarcer, companies have to realize that embracing renewable sources of energy and raw materials will no longer be a matter of choice.

The 2013 edition of the Sustainable Chemistry Summit will address the new challenges of sustainable enterprises :
  • a more sustainable chemistry as a key factor for more sustainable industries,
  • impacts of sustainable programs of chemical companies on products, processes, services and facilities environmental and social performance,
  • strategic role of renewable sources of energy and raw materials for the industry.
The summit gathers all members of the sustainability community (public authorities, consulting companies, academics,...), industry leaders, and corporate practitioners responsible for measuring, evaluating and reporting sustainability information and the leading successful strategies that helped companies head towards more sustainable process.

We are pleased to announce that the keynote speakers for Sustainable Chemistry summit 2013 (SCS 2013) are : Mr Koen Geens, Minister of Finance in Belgian Government & Mrs. Monica De Coninck, Minister of Employment in Belgian Government.

All program and course materials are in English.

Course Facilitators
All SI-Europe training and events will be taught and facilitated by experienced Senior Advisors from SI-Europe network.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing. The amount that has been paid, minus a 20% processing fee, will be refunded for all cancellations that are received 30 days prior to the course start date. A refund of 50% of the price paid will be issued for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the course start date. However, no refund will be issued for cancellations received within 7 days of the course start date. Note that we are not issuing credit notes at this time but that you may substitute another person if you are unable to attend.
Please note that we reserve the right to cancel the course within seven days of the course start date. If the course is cancelled we will provide a full refund, however, we are not responsible for travel and accommodation costs.

Special guests will be featured in the Gala dinner and an opening address will take place at the beginning of the event.
